Non-Financial Risk Enforceable Undertaking Team Lead

About the role

ANZ is seeking a seasoned leader to head its Non-Financial Risk Enforceable Undertaking (NFR EU) team in Melbourne. You will guide the implementation of the APRA Court Enforceable Undertaking remediation program for the Retail division, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust risk governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery and coordination of defined work packages, managing risks, issues, dependencies and change.
• Act as the central liaison between the Group Project Team, Group Risk & Compliance, Line 2 Risk, BU Assurance, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, remove roadblocks, and communicate program outcomes.
• Serve as secretariat for the Steering Committee, providing updates on progress, risks, financial performance and seeking approvals.
• Oversee evidence collection for independent review and regulatory assurance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in risk, compliance or regulatory remediation within a large financial institution.
• Strong project‑management background with a track record of delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to drive sustainable change and embed risk‑management capabilities.
