National Account Manager – Events and Grocery

About the role

The National Account Manager, Events and Grocery will own Combined Group's national account relationships across grocery and event/promotional channels for our Lifestyle portfolio. You will develop account plans, forecast sales, design and defend promotional programmes, and collaborate with supply, planning, finance and marketing teams to launch products and maintain service levels. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end relationships with major grocery accounts, driving range reviews, submissions and planogram outcomes to protect and grow distribution.
• Win and execute deal‑by‑deal promotional programmes across event and warehouse channels, building and safeguarding margin.
• Use scan and panel data to build evidence‑based range and promotional cases.
• Manage promotional calendars, forecasts and in‑stock performance across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with supply, planning, finance and marketing to deliver accurate forecasts, manage out‑of‑stocks and execute product launches.

Required profile

• Proven national or key account management experience in FMCG.
• Experience managing a grocery major is essential; broader experience across grocery, event/promotional and warehouse channels is a plus.
• Strong commercial discipline with the ability to construct and defend promotional deals under funding pressure.
• Data‑literate and comfortable using scan and panel data to build a case.
• Disciplined CRM user.
