Director of Commercial Sales – ANZ

About the role

Nearmap is looking for a Director, Commercial Sales for the ANZ region to lead the Mid‑Market and SMB go‑to‑market strategy. You will own the vision, drive revenue growth and coordinate across sales, marketing, product and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the ANZ Mid‑Market & SMB strategy, setting performance targets and aligning them with corporate goals.
• Lead a team of Account Executives, ensuring effective sales processes, coaching and collaboration with cross‑functional partners.
• Drive Net New Annual Recurring Revenue (NNARR) and monitor regional commercial performance.
• Assess market opportunity, recommend resource adjustments and represent the Mid‑Market segment within the region.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a technology SaaS or data‑analytics company, with 3‑5 years managing high‑performing sales teams.
• Track record of embedding structured sales methodologies and guiding teams through change.
• Strong strategic planning, relationship management and influencing abilities.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a matrixed, fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of geospatial, imagery and analytics technology for decision making.
• Experience with SaaS business models and AI‑driven analytics.
