MSP IT Onboarding Specialist

About the role

AUIT, an Australian managed service provider (MSP) based in Canberra, is looking for an experienced MSP IT Onboarding Specialist to join its dedicated IT support team. The role provides onboarding support to new end-users in a collaborative and supportive environment, with Monday to Friday hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in an MSP IT Onboarding role or similar technical role (preferably MSP-specific).
• Lives in the ACT region and drives to customer locations from Hume, ACT.
• Holds a valid Australian driver's licence to drive AUIT cars and equipment to customer sites.
• Australian citizen who can pass an Australian police check.

Required skills

• Experience administering Microsoft Intune, 365, Windows Server environments and desktop products including Active Directory.
• Level 2-3 support in full managed services IT environments, handling calls and resolving issues through a ticket-based CRM.
• Setup and administration of Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• Active Directory and/or Azure AD, Group Policy, Windows file shares, permissions and security.
• Intune enrollment and policy management, printer management, domain and DNS management.
• Hardware setup and configuration, including printers and networking hardware.
• Desirable: network management (subnetting, L2/L3 switching and routing) and VoIP/SIP phone system administration.
