.NET Developer (Contract, Canberra)

About the role

Emanate Technology is recruiting, on behalf of a federal government organisation, an experienced .NET Developer for a small, high-performing team supporting and improving several critical business applications. The role is operationally focused, combining application support, maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement work across multiple systems. It suits someone who can work well with both business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance a range of enterprise applications
• Develop new features and enhancements using C# and .NET
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and long-term fixes
• Gather requirements with business users and deliver solutions
• Contribute to application upgrades, platform improvements and deployment/build processes
• Take part in Agile delivery using Azure DevOps and maintain technical documentation

Required profile

• Strong experience developing applications with C# and .NET and maintaining enterprise apps
• Full SDLC experience, strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience with SQL Server and data-driven applications
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple applications
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, collaborative and able to own issues through to resolution
• Current NV1 security clearance, Canberra-based, Australian citizenship (mandatory)
