Motel Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Motel Manager to lead our hospitality operations in Nanango, Queensland. You will oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house functions, ensuring a seamless guest experience while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise reception, housekeeping, garden, maintenance and security services.
• Plan and manage bar, restaurant, function and conference activities, ensuring liquor, gaming and other legal requirements are met.
• Handle accounting, purchasing and financial reporting for the property.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, respond to guest feedback and resolve complaints.
• Provide guests with local tourism information and arrange tours and transportation.
• Manage staff and contractors, including scheduling, training and performance oversight.
• Ensure occupational health and safety standards are adhered to.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Motel Manager.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site with a 3‑bedroom residence provided.
• Willingness to obtain visa sponsorship if required.
