Medical Science Partner – Haemophilia (National)

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Science Partner (MSP) to lead scientific exchange and education on haemophilia across Australia. The role bridges Roche’s innovative medicines with the healthcare community, ensuring non‑promotional, evidence‑based communication that supports better patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively communicate complex clinical data to healthcare professionals, closing gaps in practice and fostering advocacy for Roche’s haemophilia therapies.
• Generate real‑world scientific insights and translate them into actionable strategies for the Squad, addressing clinical barriers.
• Build and maintain peer‑to‑peer relationships with therapeutic area experts, medical societies and key opinion leaders.
• Collaborate with investigators on clinical development programs, including Investigator‑Initiated Studies and Real‑World Evidence generation.
• Provide scientific training and education to internal cross‑functional teams, keeping them up‑to‑date with the latest clinical developments.

Required profile

• Healthcare professional qualification or university degree in life sciences; advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) highly desirable.
• Strong expertise in medical affairs, stakeholder engagement and customer experience, preferably with haemophilia therapeutic area experience.
• Strategic mindset, digital‑savvy with basic AI literacy, and ability to prioritize value‑adding activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional‑intelligence skills, capable of respectful peer‑to‑peer conversations.
• Flexibility to work remotely and travel up to 60% across multiple states; valid driver’s licence and full eligibility to work in Australia.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of patient journeys, treatment algorithms and compliance standards (MA Code of Conduct).
• Experience with scientific exchange, real‑world evidence generation and investigator‑initiated studies.
