Manager – Comprehensive Credit Reporting

About the role

Join the Retail Credit Risk team at ANZ to ensure that credit reporting meets both customer expectations and regulatory standards. You will govern end‑to‑end credit reporting processes, providing oversight and reporting to satisfy all obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Track, monitor and analyse bureau record rejections, identifying new rejection types and causes.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement through monthly meetings with credit bureaus and internal/external forums.
• Support project delivery, including the Suncorp integration, by meeting credit‑reporting requirements through data analysis and testing.
• Raise and manage non‑financial risk events in collaboration with Compliance, Technology and Legal teams.
• Produce, maintain and manage control‑reporting outputs to meet regulatory obligations.
• Act as a second‑line function for Credit Reporting Corrections, ensuring key obligations are monitored and adhered to.
• Use data to generate insights, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and report or escalate as needed.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and share learnings.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of addressing senior leaders and regulators.
• Ability to present complex problems in simple, audience‑appropriate terms.
• Strong facilitation and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Analytical, numerical and problem‑solving expertise with a proven track record of turning data into actionable information.
