Maintenance Electrician – Full‑time

About the role

Join Snapfresh’s onsite Maintenance team as a full‑time Maintenance Electrician at our modern manufacturing facility in Crestmead, Queensland. You will ensure electrical systems, production equipment and plant operate safely, efficiently and reliably in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to equipment and service breakdowns and ensure all services are operational at the start of each day.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on plant, equipment and services, recording maintenance and breakdown times.
• Complete work orders using the MEX CMMS system and update daily/weekly maintenance schedules for the Operations Manager and GM.
• Liaise with accredited third‑party contractors, monitor competence and ensure timely completion of specialist works.
• Support the onsite Maintenance team and maintain regular check‑ins with the National Facilities Manager.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in a similar maintenance electrician role within a manufacturing facility.
• Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician).
• Experience using maintenance management CMMS software (ideally MEX) and with PLCs and programming.
• Ability to work day shifts, follow OHS and food safety requirements, and supervise safe work practices.
