Litigation Lawyer – Commercial Disputes (Brisbane)

About the role

Join a leading Brisbane commercial law firm as a Litigation Lawyer or Associate, working on sophisticated commercial disputes without the pressure of daily billable targets. You will be part of a growing disputes team that values client outcomes, technical excellence, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a broad mix of commercial and corporate disputes, including shareholder, partnership, competition, consumer, IP, construction, and insolvency matters.
• Prepare and argue urgent interlocutory applications and strategic dispute resolution matters.
• Advise a diverse client base ranging from ASX‑listed companies to SMEs, government entities, and not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Collaborate with senior partners and a team of 10 disputes lawyers, receiving direct mentorship.

Required profile

• 2+ years post‑admission experience (PAE) in commercial litigation.
• Strong technical litigation and dispute‑resolution skills.
• Commercially minded with a practical, collaborative approach.
