Licensed Plumber (Engineering) – Healthcare Facilities

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health is recruiting a Licensed Plumber (Engineering) for its Facilities & Maintenance Services Team. This is a 18-month fixed-term role in which you will keep the regional healthcare facilities running, handling day-to-day preventative maintenance and minor works across all sites. The work is described as dynamic and collaborative, with flexibility to balance work and life commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day preventative maintenance and minor works across all regional facilities
• Work alongside healthcare managers, supervisors and fellow tradespeople
• Take part in the critical on-call roster

Required profile

• Current NSW or VIC Plumbing/Gasfitter trade licence (and/or Qualified Supervisors Certificate)
• Current licence in Warm Water/Mixing Valves & Backflow Prevention, or willingness to get certified after starting
• Proven ability to liaise with managers, clients and maintenance supervisors to schedule and carry out works
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, and to join the on-call roster

Required skills

• Familiarity with modern Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Strong computer skills

Salary and terms follow the relevant state EBA or Award.
