Senior Electrical Estimator - Transmission Lines

About the role
ACCIONA's Transmission team in Australia supports national tenders for complex civil and infrastructure projects, including national transmission upgrades. As a Senior Electrical Estimator you develop first-principles estimates for overhead transmission lines and substations from 66 kV to 500 kV, interpret drawings, methods and market pricing to build competitive tender submissions, and work with the National Transmission Estimating Manager alongside construction, engineering and procurement teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build first-principles cost models
- Deliver accurate quantity take-offs
- Coordinate RFQs and assess pricing
- Maintain cost databases
- Define construction methods and rates
- Support tender pricing reviews, tender governance, reviews and BAFO responses
Required profile
- Knowledge of HV line and substation construction
- First-principles estimating skill
- Engineering degree or trade qualification
- 8+ years of infrastructure experience
