About the role
We are looking for a Legal Support, FOI & Privacy Officer to join our collaborative Legal Services team. The role sits within the Bureau's Organisational Resilience Program and works closely with senior executives and managers across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide proactive, pragmatic legal advice on Freedom of Information (FOI) and privacy matters.
- Support the Legal Services team with a diverse range of legal and administrative tasks.
- Engage with senior Bureau staff and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing FOI requests and privacy compliance documentation.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy in all legal support activities.
Required profile
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
- Strong eye for detail and ability to work with relative autonomy.
- Experience in a paralegal, legal administrative, FOI or privacy role is highly regarded but not mandatory.
