Senior Contracts Specialist

About the role

EnerMech is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to join its Commercial team in Perth. This permanent, full‑time position will focus on reviewing, qualifying and negotiating a wide range of contractual agreements to support global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist contract expertise for EnerMech’s tendering activity across UK and Europe, drafting legal wording and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Conduct risk reviews, seek approvals for deviations, and present contractual strategies at regional and board level meetings.
• Administer contracts, prepare documentation for execution, maintain records and support project hand‑over meetings.
• Negotiate client‑facing contracts to secure optimal terms and assist in early resolution of contractual issues and disputes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in contracts within oil & gas or construction (or transferable experience).
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Expertise in commercial and contractual drafting and negotiation.
• Familiarity with negotiating liability, indemnity and warranty provisions.
• Experience with LOGIC and NEC contracting forms (advantageous).
