Lead Deal Desk Strategist

About the role

LinkedIn is hiring a Lead Deal Desk Strategist in Sydney on a full-time basis. The Deal Desk team advises LinkedIn's Field Sales team on the Order to Cash (O2C) process and on complex deal structures and requests, helping sales focus on selling while improving efficiency, profitability and controls. The role is hybrid, split between home and the LinkedIn office on selected days.

Key responsibilities

• Enable the Deal Desk team to deliver quality service to internal and external customers across markets and verticals.
• Advise sales teams on pricing strategies, deal structuring and complex client requests.
• Build partnerships with sales, legal, credit and revenue teams to ensure a strong customer experience.
• Improve workflows, identify inefficiencies and drive system and process innovations to meet KPIs.
• Train, mentor and educate the global Deal Desk team.
• Act as escalation point for OTC issues and engage directly with clients to resolve them.
• Advise internal teams on system tools and deal execution, especially for high-value, complex deals.
• Communicate upcoming system changes to the global team and address regional process nuances.
• Cultivate relationships with cross-functional partners and back-office teams, acting as the main point of contact.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement or Order to Cash.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Comfortable with change and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business and commercial acumen, teamwork and time management, and experience leading initiatives or teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and Oracle.
• Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately.
