Laboratory Technician

About the role

CellCarta, a Contract Research Organization, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its on‑site team in Baulkham Hills. You will support laboratory experiments, process fresh samples, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Isolate cells from human samples using aseptic techniques and perform cryopreservation, thawing, and counting following SOPs.
• Prepare solutions and reagents, receive, label, log, and store samples and reagents, and support shipment preparation and sample destruction.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and documentation in line with GLP/GCLP guidelines.

Required profile

• Diploma in Laboratory Sciences.
• Experience with PBMC isolation (Ficoll or CPT), cryopreservation, thawing, and hemocytometer counting.
• Experience working in a biological safety cabinet under sterile conditions.
• Organized, rigorous, with strong record‑keeping and attention to detail.
