Kitchen Cleaning Attendant

About the role

Federal Hospitality is hiring a Kitchen Cleaning Attendant for the kitchens at Wrest Point in Sandy Bay, Tasmania. The role keeps the kitchen areas clean and hygienic, and the employer describes the workplace as supportive with learning and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils using an industrial dishwasher
• Perform hand washing of kitchen items as needed
• Clean kitchen equipment, appliances and surfaces according to hygiene standards
• Make sure all areas of the kitchen, including floors and walls, are clean at the end of shift

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Effective time management and enthusiasm for the job
• Able to work independently, make decisions and take initiative within guidelines
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster
• Appointees may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks
