IT Support Technician Level 2-3

About the role

Podium IT is hiring an experienced IT Support Technician for a senior role in Melbourne. The position covers complex troubleshooting, infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, networks and security, and works with small business and healthcare clients. It suits someone who can own complex support outcomes, contribute to projects and guide less experienced team members.

Key responsibilities

• Own escalated incidents and complex technical investigations through to resolution
• Support and improve Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, virtualisation, backup and network environments
• Plan and implement infrastructure, migration, security and onboarding projects
• Review technical risk and turn findings into clear client recommendations
• Maintain accurate standards, documentation and handover information
• Mentor technicians and contribute to service quality and operational improvement

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in managed services or broad business IT support
• Confident project delivery and change planning
• Clear, respectful communication with clients, vendors and technical colleagues

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft 365, Windows Server, identity and endpoint administration
• Solid networking knowledge across firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP
• Experience with backup, recovery, monitoring and security controls
