Information Technology Services Manager

About the role

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH), a rural health organisation with five campuses in the Central Highlands of Victoria, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Services Manager based in Daylesford. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the manager oversees the ITS team and leads the performance, risk profile and day-to-day operations of CHRH's IT functions while balancing business-as-usual service delivery. The role also drives the M365 transformation and cyber security obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and maintenance of the IT strategy and technology roadmaps.
• Manage the performance, workload and development of the IT team, allocating resources and resolving operational issues.
• Drive the M365 digital transformation, including moving from legacy to cloud environments, and sponsor ICT projects and technology change initiatives within delegation.
• Oversee ICT procurement, vendor management and contract delivery, including input into the annual budget and capital purchase requirements.
• Own the cyber security and compliance posture, including VPDSS/VPDSF essentials maturity and cyber incident response reporting.
• Act as escalation point for major IT incidents, outages and significant service risks.
• Prepare reports and briefings for Executive, Board and governance committees, and represent CHRH in regional and statewide digital forums.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning for technology-dependent services.
• Maintain IT policies and procedures, including those covering emerging areas such as artificial intelligence.

Required profile

• Experience as an Information Technology Manager with a proven ability to lead change within the IT services team and across the organisation.
• Relevant graduate or post-graduate qualification and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Able to demonstrate leadership and performance management of a small multidisciplinary technical team.
• Previous health sector experience preferred.
