ICT Network & Systems Administrator

About the role

The client, a leading aviation charter services provider, is seeking an experienced ICT Network & Systems Administrator to maintain and secure its IT infrastructure for 450‑500 employees in Nundah, Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and maintain Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, VPN solutions and security policies.
• Plan, deploy and administer virtual Windows Servers in Microsoft Azure, including patching, performance optimisation and cloud security.
• Administer Veeam backup solutions for Microsoft 365 services, monitor jobs and perform data restores.
• Provide high‑level technical support, troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate on infrastructure upgrades and security initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls, VPNs and network security.
• Proven administration of Azure virtual Windows Servers and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with Veeam backup for Microsoft 365 and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and be on‑call once a month.
