HR Manager – Dairy Sites

About the role

Lactalis Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a multi-site role across its Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites. Based at the Industrial Factory in Harvey and reporting to the Site Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial, the role partners with leaders and employees to deliver HR and industrial relations solutions that drive business performance and align with Lactalis values. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR, employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations.
• Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement, and liaise with Fair Work and other external stakeholders on industrial matters.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning activities.
• Work with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site.
• Develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
