HR Manager - Industrial Factory

About the role

Lactalis Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its team at the Industrial Factory in Harvey, partnering with leaders and employees across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites. Reporting to the Site Manager with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial, the role is a true business partnering position covering the employee lifecycle, strategic HR initiatives, employee relations and industrial negotiations. Flexible work arrangements will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR, employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) matters.
• Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations.
• Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement.
• Liaise with Fair Work and other external stakeholders on industrial matters.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning activities.
• Work with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site.
• Develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex ER and IR matters.
• Hands-on HR professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and influencing positive people outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
