Home and Investment Lending Assistant

About the role

As a Home & Investment Lending Assistant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will work closely with the Home & Investment Lending Manager to guide customers through saving, purchasing and owning their home or investment property. The role focuses on delivering seamless experiences and building strong relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers in saving for, buying, and owning their own home or investment property.
• Coach customers through each step of the lending journey.
• Mentor and coach branch team members to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure a seamless experience.
• Deliver on ANZ’s Customer Promises, turning customers into strong advocates.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with home lending or retail banking experience.
• Financially savvy and comfortable using technology.
• Ability to multi‑task, adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Proactive, initiative‑taking with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail.
