Headspace Psychologist – Private Practice (Part‑time)

About the role

Registered Psychologists are invited to join headspace’s multidisciplinary teams across several Victorian locations on a part‑time contractor basis. You will deliver private‑practice services to young people aged 12‑25, working alongside GPs, nurses and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑standard, person‑centred counselling and focused psychological strategies to young people with mental health concerns.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members and utilise full administrative support, including reception, billing and appointment management.
• Maintain a referral base of assessed young people ready to access services.

Required profile

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
• Approved tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services.
• Willingness to provide current Police Check, Working with Children Check and COVID‑19 vaccination evidence.
• Own equipment, professional indemnity insurance and an ABN.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work permit/visa.
