Head of Sales & Account Management

About the role

V-DAQ, an Australian technology company in fleet management and telematics, is seeking a senior commercial leader to own and evolve its revenue engine. The Head of Sales & Account Management will drive both new‑business acquisition and expansion of existing customers while shaping the overall commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy across acquisition, account management, cross‑sell and upsell.
• Align marketing initiatives with strategic growth priorities.
• Lead, develop and scale the sales and account‑management teams.
• Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand needs, buying drivers and expansion opportunities.
• Own pipeline development, deal progression, product positioning, negotiations and closing.
• Build scalable sales processes, reporting, forecasting and performance‑management frameworks.
• Coach existing team members and recruit additional sales talent.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to feed market insights into product road‑maps.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales or revenue leadership with a track record of sustainable growth.
• Experience recruiting, building and coaching high‑performing sales or account‑management teams.
• Background selling SaaS, IoT, telematics or connected‑hardware solutions.
• Strong commercial capability across new‑customer acquisition and existing‑customer growth.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on involvement in customer conversations and deal execution.
