Head of Reward and People Operations

About the role

Lead a hybrid function that combines technical reward expertise with broad People Operations leadership. You will partner closely with the CPO and the wider people team to evolve processes, frameworks and standards across Australia and other markets.

Key responsibilities

• Shape a connected total‑reward philosophy, job families and evaluation methodology to support consistent remuneration decisions and workforce planning.
• Develop robust market benchmarking and executive, employee and sales incentive arrangements, linking reward to performance.
• Connect people, position and FTE data with business needs to inform workforce structure and resourcing.
• Lead the broader enablement remit, creating repeatable HR processes, self‑service tools and advisory support while aligning talent acquisition with workforce priorities.
• Define HRIS strategy, oversee people‑data governance and deliver reliable workforce reporting.
• Strengthen policy and vendor governance, ensure compliance across markets and support Board and RemCo papers.

Required profile

• Technical credibility in reward design, job architecture, remuneration benchmarking and incentive frameworks.
• Broad experience across HR operations, HRIS, people analytics, governance and talent acquisition.
• Ability to combine strategic direction with hands‑on delivery and set standards across multiple countries.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex analysis and collaborate with senior leaders.
