About the role
Ageing Australia is seeking a strategic leader to head its Quality & Governance portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Services, you will shape the direction of quality, compliance and governance initiatives that support aged‑care providers across the nation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for quality and governance services, aligning with member needs and sector reforms.
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities, translating them into practical products, tools and resources for providers.
- Oversee portfolio budgets, financial performance and revenue‑generating services to ensure sustainable growth.
- Drive business development, partnerships and service innovation to expand the offering.
- Provide strategic oversight of quality management systems, governance frameworks, policies and tools, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
- Lead the creation and continuous improvement of content, working with internal and external subject‑matter experts.
- Embed robust governance, reporting and risk‑management practices across all activities.
- Represent Ageing Australia in industry, government and stakeholder forums, contributing to sector leadership and reform discussions.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in quality, compliance or governance, preferably within the aged‑care or health sector.
- Strong strategic thinking with a track record of driving organisational growth and innovation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at senior levels.
- Experience managing budgets, financial performance and revenue‑focused services.
- Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
