Head of Finance – Commercial Property Funds

About the role

AGEMAGEM Property Group is seeking a hands‑on, commercially minded Head of Finance to lead finance across its operating business, property fund accounting and AFSL compliance. This senior position offers the opportunity to shape the finance function of a growing, locally owned Western Australian property investment manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage business finance including reporting, cashflow, budgeting, forecasting and departmental expense control.
• Own finance metrics, assumptions, documentation and sign‑off cadence; prepare dashboards and reporting packs that explain changes.
• Oversee fund accounting, reporting, distributions and key assumptions together with the senior fund accountant.
• Manage banking relationships, annual reviews, facilities, covenants, lender reporting and debt strategy.
• Coordinate AFSL compliance processes with external advisers and Investor Relations.
• Partner with Operations, Investor Relations and Property Funds on commercial decisions, acquisitions and leasing assumptions.
• Lead the finance team, including external bookkeeper and senior fund accountant, and raise standards across processes, controls and systems.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or CFA qualified with strong technical finance capability.
• At least 10 years of experience in finance, preferably within property funds or investment management.
• Commercially minded, detail‑oriented and able to translate numbers into actionable recommendations.
• Proven experience in managing cashflow, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
