Management & Project Accountant – Business Co‑Pilot

About the role

Join Forgemaster as a Management and Project Accountant to partner with owners, managers and operational teams, turning financial data into actionable business insight. You will help shape performance reporting, cost analysis and strategic planning across asset‑intensive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build integrated management reports and dashboards that combine financial, operational, safety and workforce data.
• Deliver accurate project accounting, budgets, rolling forecasts and strategic plans, analysing profitability and cost drivers.
• Identify emerging margin pressures, cost overruns and delivery risks, providing timely insight to managers.
• Support payroll accuracy, timesheet approvals, workforce certification compliance and safety performance reporting.
• Develop pricing, tender models and business cases, translating insights into realistic planning assumptions.

Required profile

• Experienced Management Accountant, Project Accountant or Finance Business Partner with strong commercial focus.
• Qualified accountant (CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent) with solid management accounting and financial modelling skills.
• Proven ability to work directly with business owners, project managers and operational teams.
• Understanding of how safety, workforce capability and payroll accuracy affect business performance.
