Handyperson – Hotel Maintenance (Yulara, NT)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Handyperson to join the Hotel Maintenance team at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT. The role is live‑in, allowing you to support the day‑to‑day operation of the resort’s hotel facilities while enjoying the unique Red Centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, repairs, installations and routine maintenance across the designated hotel zone.
• Diagnose and fix guest‑room air‑conditioning units, lighting systems, electronic door locks and safes.
• Carry out preventative maintenance according to the programmed manuals.
• Maintain the security and condition of all tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, holding a valid White Card and a full Australian driver’s licence.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a trade environment with knowledge of building construction.
• Current full Australian driver’s licence.
• Valid White Card (construction safety certification).
• Willingness to live onsite in a remote resort setting.

• HVAC unit servicing and fault finding.
• Electrical lighting repair and maintenance.
• Electronic door lock and safe troubleshooting.
• Fabrication and general repair techniques.
• Preventative maintenance planning and execution.
