Guest Service Agent - Full Time

About the role

Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery, a five-star luxury hotel by Accor, is hiring a full-time Guest Service Agent. You will be at the heart of the guest experience, welcoming guests from arrival through to departure and helping them discover the best of Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm, genuine and personalised welcome
• Anticipate guest needs and look for opportunities to surprise and delight
• Manage check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally
• Build genuine connections with guests and take ownership of their requests
• Give knowledgeable recommendations on Melbourne, dining, shopping and local experiences
• Handle guest feedback and complaints confidently and find positive solutions
• Communicate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments, and with the Front Office team, including handovers
• Protect guest information, room keys and payments, and ensure guest security and wellbeing
• Take part in training and development opportunities

Required profile

• Energetic, team-focused and positive attitude with a passion for hospitality
• Natural ability to connect with guests and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Polished presentation and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Previous Front Office or hotel experience is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work a seven-day roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Customer service, communication, time management, problem solving and resilience
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn hotel systems
