About the role
Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central is a dual-branded hotel with 473 rooms in the Melbourne CBD. It is looking for a porter who will act as the face of the hotel, welcome guests and help them feel special. The position is full-time.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests and make them feel special
- Assist guests with general enquiries and luggage requests
- Valet parking of cars
- General porter duties as required
Required profile
- Genuine love of Melbourne and a desire to share its knowledge with guests
- Full manual driver's licence
- Confidence and ability to drive in a busy CBD location
- Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster
- Customer-focused, with great attention to detail
- Reliable, well-groomed and a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
