Graduate Accountant – Restructuring & Insolvency Team

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Accountant to join our Restructuring Turnaround & Insolvency team in Sydney. This role offers a fast‑track career path with on‑the‑job training and mentorship from senior staff and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in managing corporate and personal insolvency matters.
• Support restructuring and turnaround projects for distressed businesses.
• Prepare and analyse financial documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Communicate with clients in sensitive, high‑emotion situations, offering empathy and professional advice.

Required profile

• Confident, professional and friendly demeanor.
• Passion for a long‑term career in insolvency, restructuring or bankruptcy.
• Relevant completed degree.
• Desire to work towards CA and ARITA qualifications.
• Ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
• Resourceful problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑focused approach, able to work productively with all levels from graduate to partner.
