GP/Urgent Care Veterinarian

About the role

Greencross Vets GP + Urgent Care Noosa is seeking veterinarians who want to work in a flexible model that blends general practice with urgent care. You can choose a dedicated GP position, a dedicated urgent care role, or a hybrid schedule that suits your strengths.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑scope general practice consultations, medical work‑ups and surgeries during extended hours.
• Assess, investigate and stabilise urgent presentations, making timely clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with an experienced nursing team in a purpose‑built hospital environment.
• Contribute ideas to grow the Noosa GP + Urgent Care service.

Required profile

• Strong clinical judgement and a thoughtful approach to patient care.
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently, including sole charge when needed.
• Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care.

Required skills

• General practice veterinary skills, including surgery.
• Experience or interest in urgent care case management.
• Confidence in medical case work‑ups and diagnostics.
