Gaming Compliance Manager - South

About the role

Federal Hospitality, part of Federal Group, a Tasmanian-owned business with a portfolio spanning hospitality, tourism, entertainment and technology, is seeking a Gaming Compliance Manager for Southern Tasmania. The role partners with venue teams across the region to ensure high standards of gaming compliance, governance and operational excellence, combining compliance expertise with stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to venue leaders across Southern Tasmania on gaming compliance matters.
• Conduct venue reviews, investigate incidents and coach operational teams.
• Monitor compliance performance and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Identify risks, drive continuous improvement and turn compliance obligations into practical day-to-day processes.

Required profile

• Experience in gaming compliance, risk, audit, governance, regulation or another operationally focused environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, investigations, assurance activities and risk management principles.
• Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory requirements and turn them into practical solutions.
• Strong communicator who builds relationships and influences stakeholders at all levels; proactive, organised and detail-oriented.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, a current driver's licence and the ability to travel between venues as required.
