About the role
Argenton Hotel is looking for an experienced chef to join its kitchen team. The venue offers a fast-paced, energetic and friendly environment with a dedicated Head Chef and a team that treats each other like a big family. The chef will work about 38 hours per week on a rotating roster covering Monday to Sunday.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional environment.
- Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
- Qualifications or trade experience equivalent.
- Experience in a busy commercial kitchen across a variety of cuisines and styles, delivering good quality, modern and innovative food.
- Flexibility and willingness, clear communication and customer service skills.
- Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation.
- Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service.
- Knowledge of food hygiene compliance, practices and regulations.
