About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Kew, a 135-bed residential aged care facility in Melbourne, is looking for a Food Services Assistant for a permanent part-time afternoon shift position. You will help create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for residents, working within an experienced, engaged and dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the organisation's mission and philosophy
• Deliver services that support high-quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff
• Work a rotating roster

Required profile

• Experience in hospitality, an aged care facility, hospital environment and/or a related field is ideal
• Ability to work a rotating roster and flexibility
• High level of customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• National Criminal History Check; NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required
