Food Services Assistant - Casual

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Kew, a 135-bed residential aged care facility in Melbourne, is looking for a Food Services Assistant on a casual basis, working across the afternoon shift. You will help an experienced team create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the organisation's mission and philosophy
• Deliver services that support high-quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff

Required profile

• Ability to work a rotating roster and flexibility
• Experience in hospitality, an aged care facility, hospital environment or a related field is ideal
• National Criminal History Check; NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required

Required skills

• High level of customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
