Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

Esri Australia is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to build and mature forecasting, planning and performance reporting capabilities across Australia and support the wider Group. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic analysis while partnering with finance, data and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasting and long‑range planning for Australia and help develop consistent frameworks across the Group.
• Build integrated financial models covering revenue, margin, operating costs, cash flow and key business drivers.
• Deliver scenario modelling and commercial analysis to support strategic decisions and investments.
• Establish scalable forecasting, planning and reporting processes to improve forecast quality and governance.
• Develop monthly executive reporting that connects financial performance, risks, opportunities and actions.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in FP&A, commercial finance or corporate finance, including leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Proven ability to build or significantly improve forecasting, planning, reporting and business partnering capabilities.
• Strong influence skills with senior stakeholders and a solutions‑focused, autonomous approach.

Required skills

• Financial modelling (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Experience with planning/enterprise performance management systems.
• Workday and Snowflake reporting environments.
• KPI governance and performance management frameworks.
