Finance Director – ANZ (Accounting & Shared Services)

About the role

Egis is seeking a Finance Director for the ANZ region to lead accounting, statutory reporting and shared services. Reporting to the APAC CFO, you will combine technical finance expertise with operational execution and people leadership to strengthen governance and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial and statutory reporting across a multi‑entity environment.
• Strengthen finance governance, controls, policies and procedures.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and automation.
• Oversee ESG disclosures and climate reporting aligned with business objectives.
• Provide leadership to a geographically dispersed shared services team (onshore and offshore).
• Support integration activities such as M&A and system upgrades to ensure scalable, standardised processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver insights and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification with extensive senior finance leadership experience.
• Proven background in group reporting, governance and multi‑entity environments.
• Experience driving finance transformation, systems improvements and process optimisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence executive and board level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing, distributed teams.
• Commercially astute with experience supporting business growth and strategic initiatives.
• Experience with ESG and climate reporting is highly regarded.
• Background in professional services or similarly complex environments preferred.
