Final Trim Loader, Scraper & Excavator Operator

About the role

Tracc Civil, a leading civil construction contractor in Perth, is looking for experienced Final Trim Loader, Scraper and Excavator Operators. The role involves working on subdivision and other civil projects across the metropolitan area, primarily on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plant safely and efficiently, adhering to safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Complete pre‑start inspections and report any issues.
• Follow directions from the Leading Hand or Site Manager.
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Maintain clear communication, problem‑solve and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Current, valid Driver’s Licence (HR licence highly regarded) and reliable transport.
• Construction Induction (White) Card and relevant Operator Ticket.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in subdivision or similar civil construction projects.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

Required skills

• GPS Machine Control experience (Topcon, Trimble or Leica).
• Operation of final trim loader to achieve design levels and specifications.
• Experience operating Cat 651 and Cat 631 scrapers.
• Precision operation of 1.5 t to 50 t excavators.
• Ability to operate additional earth‑moving equipment such as dozers.
