Field and Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field and Laboratory Technician to support our technical team with laboratory testing and field investigation activities. The role offers hands‑on experience in geotechnical testing and the opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory testing following procedures, safety requirements and relevant Australian and international standards.
• Undertake supervised field investigations, operate field equipment, and complete accurate field records and testing documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance testing for both laboratory and field activities and report any non‑conformances.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe laboratory areas and equipment.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence for the vehicle you will operate.
• Construction Industry Card (CIC).
• Willingness to complete all required company, project and industry training.
• Professional, reliable and safety‑conscious attitude with strong time‑management and communication skills.
