External Account Manager – Food & Nutrition Ingredients

About the role

The External Account Manager will manage a portfolio of customers in the Food and Beverage sector, focusing on health, wellness, sports nutrition and functional foods across VIC, SA and WA. The role involves growing existing relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer relationships while establishing new ones.
• Identify and pursue product and market opportunities to increase sales and market share.
• Achieve sales targets using digital and face‑to‑face channels, cross‑selling and value‑based pricing.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, pricing agreements and costings.
• Utilise Salesforce for pipeline management, reporting and opportunity tracking.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product management, supply chain) to deliver optimal solutions.

Required profile

• Established B2B network in VIC/SA/WA with experience in food ingredients sales.
• Proven commercial sales track record and account management expertise.
• Strong interest in food and nutrition ingredients and ability to communicate their value.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Salesforce CRM.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
