Experienced Paraplanner – Financial Advice Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Experienced Paraplanner to craft high‑quality Statements of Advice (SoAs) that help Australian clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with advisers, using cutting‑edge technology and rigorous research to develop compliant, client‑focused strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver Statements of Advice that meet regulatory standards and client objectives.
• Research investment and insurance products, run financial models, and apply technology tools to design practical strategies.
• Partner with advisers to provide alternative solutions and strategic insights.
• Maintain strong communication with advisers to ensure expectations and compliance are met.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience preparing SoAs within the Australian financial planning industry.
• Strong understanding of Australian financial planning regulations and product knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xplan (including WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, Xtools+).
• Experience using Midwinter, AdviserLogic, or Intelliflo.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
