Employment Consultant – First Nations (South Australia)

About the role

As an Employment Consultant you will provide culturally safe, holistic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants in South Australia, helping them overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with participants to develop tailored, culturally appropriate employment pathways.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
• Design and implement individualized plans that enhance employability and match labour market needs.
• Provide ongoing support to both participants and employers throughout the placement process.
• Deliver services that meet all contractual and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background (preferred).
• Current probationary or open Australian driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle (or willingness to discuss).
• Willingness to complete a National Police check and obtain a MyID (standard level).
• Ability to pass a Working with Children check.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
