Employment Consultant

About the role

The Employment Consultant will manage a portfolio of clients in the job‑seeking phase of their rehabilitation, providing support to help them secure new employment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and preparation for clients seeking new employment
• Contact prospective businesses to discuss staffing solutions and incentives for job trials/placements
• Assist clients with resume drafting and deliver job‑seeking training modules
• Conduct career planning, job matching and develop local employer relationships
• Perform post‑placement check‑in support

Required profile

• 1+ years experience in a similar role, preferably recruitment assisting individuals with barriers
• Valid driver’s licence and car
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail and ability to build stakeholder relationships
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement

Required skills

• Confidence on the phone and ability to network with potential employers
