Electrician – Generators (Sydney)

About the role

Join Pramac, a Generac Company, as a qualified electrician focused on generator installation, alternator repairs, and reactive maintenance of diesel and gas generators. You will work from the Smeaton Grange branch and travel to customer sites across Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Work on generator sets and control panels, including troubleshooting and diagnostics up to 3,500 kVA.
• Modify wiring looms and diagrams, commission new generator systems, transfer switches and fuel systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Mechanical Service team while maintaining a strong safety focus.
• Occasional travel to customer locations.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical trades qualification and White Card.
• Understanding of control systems, PLC and relay logic.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Current driver’s licence; forklift licence preferred.
• Australian citizenship with full work rights.
