ECC Veterinary Nurse – Emergency & Critical Care

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and hospitalised patients.
• Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments and emergency procedures.
• Monitor patients, administer medications and maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist in surgical and critical‑care cases as required.
• Communicate empathetically with clients during stressful situations.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 3+ years clinical experience, preferably in emergency or a busy general practice.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
