Duty Manager - Pub & Bar

About the role

Molly Malone's, part of the Vantage Hotel Group, is a Devonport pub on Tasmania's Northwest Coast offering dining, a relaxed bar, a gaming room and live entertainment. As Duty Manager you report to the Hotel Manager and stay hands-on with daily operations, including gaming, food and beverage, leading a close-knit team through each shift while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on-shift team to deliver memorable customer service and experiences
• Ensure health, safety, gaming and food safety procedures are followed
• Assist with staff scheduling and break management with the Hotel Manager
• Help handle complaints and issues as required
• Carry out opening and closing duties, including the bar and bistro

Required profile

• Experience in a pub-style venue or similar
• Ability to work night, weekend and public holiday shifts
• Current Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) certificate, or able to obtain one
• Passion for the industry and ability to thrive in a busy environment
