Dental Assistant (Part-time)

About the role

Wanniassa Dental is seeking a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join their busy clinic team. You will support dentists, ensure smooth patient flow, and help create a comfortable experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of treatments.
• Prepare and set up treatment rooms.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain high infection‑control standards.
• Welcome and support patients throughout their appointments.
• Keep clinical areas clean, organised and ready to go.
• Support the wider practice team when needed.
• Build great relationships with patients and teammates.
• Learn new skills and expand dental knowledge.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and confident with patients.
• Reliable and someone the team can count on.
• Organised and able to keep up in a busy environment.
• A team player happy to jump in and help.
• Passionate about providing great patient care.
• Keen to learn and develop dental assisting skills.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but attitude and willingness to learn are also valued.
